I'd like to start off by saying I enjoyed the device for the first couple of months after that the tracker quit working and emailed support twice and a month later have still not received a email back. So Byers beware if you ever have any issues out of the tracker you will never be able to speak or get in touch with anyone to hell everything on their website is self-help pages and the email they do give you to reach out to someone you will never get a response from. So now I basically have a worthless cracker that has not worked in over months and still have not been able to get in touch with anyone

....wenn er mal wieder davonfliegt, dann weiß ich immerhin wohin. Leider bekommt mein Bommel es immer mal wieder unverhofft in den Kopf.Für meine vielen Fotos wäre ich froh wenn der Tracker schwarz wäre, aber den gab es noch nicht als ich ihn gekauft habe und zum Glück ist er sehr robust und hält lange.

AH, Joonie. My little French Brittany. We have a very long back yard that is excellent for dogs to run zoomies. We are on a golf course and have a wrought iron fence (required) so we put some almost invisible netting on the fence to keep small foster dogs from just walking away. It has worked SO WELL for MANY years. We have had our Joonie almost 3 years and this netting worked fine - until January when someone left the gate to the golf course open and she got a taste of absolute FREEDOM. It took me 30 panicked minutes to find her while driving around the neighborhood.So, got her back. Got that gate closed and LOCKED. She got out again a few days later. After that taste of freedom she found another way out by pulling back some of that netting. I have tacked it down so tight now she can't get it torn away...at least I HOPE.SO, I can't take the panic. I ordered the Tractive. I've used another brand in the past and I just wasn't happy with it.There is a little learning curve on this but it is easy enough to quickly set up your safe zones. I was concerned that the little silicone things wouldn't be strong enough to keep the device on the collar, but It has lasted a month so far. I have a leather collar that it is attached to. So far so good. As for battery life, Joonie is in the safe zone and close to the WiFi 99% of the time so the battery lasts a good 2 weeks. I'm sure it will need charging more often when it warms up and we start walking her - but again, she has a really big yard to run in.I am just learning about the updates on her activity and health and sleep patterns since we have had this just a month.I think the Tractive will not only protect my crazy little girl, but will save me from having a panic stroke. She is an adventuress for sure and she becomes deaf to her name when she is having fun.A side note, I ordered the Tractive AND saw that "others order" the little white plastic thing that you slide the Tractive device into to make it easier to charge, because the device was supposed to only come with a charging cable. They must have changed that because it came with the white plastic thing to make charging using a standard cable easier. So, don't order that little part separately. You will already get one.I am VERY pleased and feel so much better about letting Joonie out to run and play with her Field Spaniel brother from another mother (and daddy). And I told her, "Jooniebug, if you get out again, I am going to track you down like the stinkin' little dog you are", and she smiled.

Eigentlich braucht mein Hund das nicht, aber für den Urlaub wollte ich sicher gehen, dass er mir nicht im Ausland verloren geht und da scheint er der einzige TRACKER zu sein, der auch im europäischengut funktioniert. Zumindest für Frankreich kann ich das bestätigen.Die Akkulaufzeit und das Handling sind gut und auch die App ist leicht zu bedienen und ich glaube, so könnte man seinen Hund recht sicher wieder finden. Die "Wellness" Funktionen in der App sind unnötige Spielereien, aber muss man ja nicht nutzen.

My working line gundog loves to rustle around bushes on the fields we walk. This is a great bit of kit, on the occasion he gets ahead of himself, going too far I can use this tracker, but he always decides to come back by the time I've unlocked my phone and got the app and live mapping up.I got the premium membership and use the map like Strava, it records our miles and where we've been, but it is very inaccurate, cuts lots of corners and underscores us by miles. Even on streets where we have an abundance of 5G towers, my phone is SG24 so definitely capable.I want to give this 5star for the amazing sense of security it gives. Reaches 4 stars only for the inaccuracy when tracking our walks and covering how far we've walked.

Im letzten Jahr war unser Hund entlaufen. 2 Wochen suchten wir, bis wir ihn wieder einfangen konnten. Damals hatten wir noch keinen Tracker, wir suchten mit Flyern nach dem Hund. Problem: wenn ihn jemand gesehen hatte und uns anrief, war er schon wieder weg, wenn wir an der Sichtungsstelle ankamen. Durch einen Zufall konnten wir ihn dann an einem Maisfeld lokalisieren.Hätten wir damals schon der Tracker gehabt, wäre die Suche sehr deutlich schneller erfolgreich gewesen: Mit Live-Standort und Verlauf der Runden des Hundes über mehrere Tage ist eine Lokalisierung schnell möglich. Auch erfreulich: einmal aufgeladen, hält der Tracker mehrere Tage durch. Wir können das Gerät wirklich nur empfehlen.

Mit Hilfe des Trackers und der App im Handy konnte ich meinen Hund nach ca. 2 Stunden wiederfinden. Dafür bin ich sehr dankbar. Herzlichst Sylvia

Wir haben uns den Tracker geholt nicht weil wir einen Aureißer haben, sondern nur zur Sicherheit für den Urlaub und zu Silvester falls er aus welchen Gründen auch immer nicht zu uns zurück findet. Die Karte ist wirklich gut auch in Norwegen und Dänemark konnte man die Umgebung auf der Karte gut erkennen. Live-Ortung ist auch nahezu perfekt. Und da wir eine kleine Wasserratte haben können wir auch mit Sicherheit sagen dass der Tracker auch Wasserfest ist. Am Geschirr angebracht beeinträchtigt ihn der Tracker in keinster Weise.

In PC Magazine's tests, it had the fastest response time of any pet tracker tested. That was critical for us. The USA Today review gave it top marks for long battery life. That's critical too since any GPS tracker's ability ends when the battery runs down. USA Today also praised its durability and the amount of useful information provided.Although the price is a lot less than other GPS trackers, the features are the same or better. There's a subscription required (true for all GPS trackers), but the Tractive subscription is equivalent to the cost of a couple lattes per month. When I think what we would have paid to find our lost dog before we had Tractive, we consider it a real bargain!We own two Tractive devices (both purchased on Amazon) and waited a year to write this review to see if they really live up to the high praise given by those magazine testers. The concept of this is just what I am looking for. A simple programming change would make it workable.It has a battery-saving mode that works fine until I want to track my dog. The tracker senses a wifi network and turns off the tracking while in range, the problem is that I cannot override this and it minutes to start tracking even when out of wifi range. I do not understand why it cannot disregard the wifi signal when I select "live" and do what I bought it for, to track the dogThe virtual fences had to be extended about 40 feet into each of my neighbor's yards to avoid constant out-of-zone warnings when still in my yard, there are no trees or anything to block the signalIf I was able to start live tracking at any time, this product would be goodEdit 11/5/2023To overcome the annoyance of not being able to do start live tracking on demand I have a WiFi setup just for the dog that I turn of when I am feeding him do that when he is done I can turn him outside and have live trackingThe accuracy seems to have improved over when I first purchased this

Der Hersteller antwortet auf die Nachfrage nicht.>Eine monatliche Zahlung ist - entgegen der Werbung des Herstellers - NICHT möglich. Mindestlaufzeit ein Jahr mit Vorauszahlung. Es ist seeehr teuer.>Das Gerät ist bei Verlust nicht wieder auffindbar. Andere Kunden haben das schon bemängelt. Keine Find Funktion oder Fernaktivierung.> Das Gerät ist einfach ein Stück Plastik. Nicht besonders auf die vielfältigen Belange von Hundehaltern und Halsbändern und Geschirren angepasst. Lieblos konzipiert. Selbst die Farbpalette ist unschön.> Die Befestigung ist einfach schlecht gemacht. Die Haken brechen leicht. Die Gummis sind nicht haltbarer. Gummibandbefestigung im 21. Jahrhundert?
