I ordered this sorting toy for my grandson who's about to be two. Th age recommended for this product is 36 months and above but my little one is fairly mechanically inclined so I thought this would be good for him. Wow, is this set impressive! The pieces are well-made, smooth and the painting is lovely. He is learning to do the "fishing" skill with the magnets, and it's a hit. He loves the gears, which I knew he would and is able to fit them together so they interlock.I especially like that the numbered blocks can only fit one way. He's figuring out they don't fit on any other spindle than the one they are designed for, and the coordinating colors and shapes help with that. This toy is so versatile; it promotes colors, shapes, cause-and-effect, plus all the associated fine-motor skills and coordination.I think it would make a terrific gift, and works well for younger kids if they like to understand and figure out how things operate. However, I'd only use it under supervision for younger kids since some of the parts could conceivably be swallowed.

This is a fun colorful set that is perfect for practicing fine motor skills. The colors are vibrant and engaging, my child loves manipulating all the little pieces and parts. It’s so sweet watching their little imaginations and how their eyes light up when they figure something out!

Bought this for my niece and she absolutely loves it. She would sometimes put it in a bucket and pretend she's making soup out of it.

I got this sorting and stacking toy for my nephew, who’s just under two but already fascinated by how things fit together. Even though it’s technically recommended for 36 months and up, I figured he’d enjoy the challenge with some supervision—and I was right! He immediately took to the fishing game, carefully maneuvering the little magnetic rod to catch the wooden fish. The gears were another big hit, and it was fun watching him figure out how they interlock. One thing I really appreciate is the attention to detail. The wooden pieces are smooth, well-painted, and sturdy—no rough edges or flimsy parts. I also love that the numbered blocks only fit on their specific pegs, which adds an extra layer of learning. It’s a great way to introduce numbers, colors, and basic problem-solving in one toy. That said, while he was engaged for a while, the excitement didn’t last as long as I’d hoped. He played with it intensely for about 10 minutes before moving on to something else. I think older toddlers, especially those who love puzzles, might get more long-term use out of it. Also, because there are smaller pieces, I’d definitely recommend keeping an eye on younger kids while they play.Overall, it’s a well-made, educational toy that’s great for developing fine motor skills. It may not be a go-to favorite every day, but it’s definitely a solid addition to our toy collection!

This little toy is such a gem for toddlers! I got it for my goddaughter who just turned 3, and she was instantly locked in. It’s got a mix of shapes, colors, and pegs that make learning actually fun—and it’s Montessori-style, so it encourages her to problem-solve on her own. She’s sorting by color one minute, stacking shapes the next, and showing off like “Look what I did!” I love seeing her little brain work while she plays. The quality is A1—real wood, no sharp edges, and the paint is non-toxic (because you know kids will try to nibble anything). It’s also compact enough to throw in a tote when we go to grandma’s house. If you want something that’s cute on the shelf and keeps your little one engaged without a screen, this one’s it. Great for birthdays, playdates, or just because you want to level up their toy game.
