We installed this Trendnet SDR-240-48 power supply together with a Trendnet TI-PG102 POE switch in an outdoor box to boost the signal to IP cameras that were roughly 500 feet from our main equipment. This steel box is in located next to a light pole in a parking lot in Las Vegas, in full sun, and survived it's first 115+ degree summer with no issues. It's been running fine for 9 months now and has not needed a reboot or anything. Fingers crossed it will survive several years!
