Does the job and works on my small lawn. Was easy to attach the hose to and because it's on wheels, it's easy to just pull it around to reposition whilst still onHas a fair reach though so didn't really need to move it for my small patch - it's only if you have a large garden you would need to.

These sprinklers have been around for decades, and the design is well established. The sprinkler can be set up to rotate the full 360 degrees, or just rotate within the angles you set on the device. There are 5 points of control.1. The power of the jet2. The cleanness of the spray (jet or spray)3. The set angle of the rotation4. Full 360 range of motion5. The speed of the turning (which is actually done via the frequency of the bounce)The base is relatively heavy metal, and the wheels allow you to move the sprinkler around without stopping the water flow. I already have a sprinkler on wheels, so I was keen to compare my original one with this new one.Unfortunately, although this sprinkler is not actually bad, it just isn't as seamlessly good as my other one.The problems are as follows...- The jet goes too far.. I find that most of the water is hitting my side fences, and only a smaller proportion is falling close to the sprinkler location. You can reduce the power and diffusion, but the balance is still with the majority of water being spread farther, rather than closer to the sprinkler.- The diffuser is a small pin on a spring. It does kind of work, but it doesn't diffuse the water nearly as well as my standard rotating sprinkler. That gives a very even spread of water.- It's all very well setting angles (for a directional spray), but I just don't find that it works better than my regular rotating sprinkler- The front of the base is quite heavy, and I find that when I try to pull the hose forward to move the sprinkler location, the front of the sprinkler (the bit which is not on wheels), jams itself into the grass, and doesn't want to move forward.I think if you have a very large garden - probably 10 - 20 metres square, then this sprinkler would work very well. It can water the lawn over quite a large surface area, and the water flow is good. I have a long but narrow garden, and have found that this sprinkler deposits most of the water on the fences, and less on the grass. It's a lovely intricate design, which is almost an artwork, but for me the standard rotating nozzle version just works better.

This is a solid sprinkler with a sturdy metal body that stays in place even with strong water pressure. The two wheels make it easy to move around the garden, and the overall build feels strong and reliable. I like that the spray pattern is adjustable so I can control how much area it covers. Once I set it up the first time, I just leave it in the middle of the lawn and it gets the job done. The water coverage is really good and it saves me at least 20 to 30 minutes a day. I no longer need to move around with a hose or keep adjusting things. I just open the tap, let it run for about half an hour, and the lawn is evenly watered. This sprinkler does exactly what I need without any fuss. A well deserved 5 star product.
