Ich musste ein Kupferrohr (Dampflanze einer alten Espressomaschine) herstellen (keine Ersatzteile mehr zu bekommen). Das 6 mm Rohr (weiches Kupfer) ließ sich sehr gut in die Form biegen. Es benötigt jedoch einiges Fingerspitzengefühl dafür. Ohne des Rohrbiegers hatte ich es nicht geschafft, ansehliche kurze Bögen herzustellen.

Dit is eigenlijk een impuls aankoop geweest. Zo van: we hebben ze grote en ik bestel ook maar de mini mee.Kwaliteit is goed. Maar de maat waar deze voor is komt zelden voor in Nederland.

Ricordatevi di mettere un poco di grasso sulla parte scorrevole dell'attrezzo in modo da ridurre a zero i graffi e ottenere pieghe perfette riducendo di molto l'ovalizzazione .

Klar ist das Teil nicht unbedingt für starke Materialien geeignet aber für den Preis funktioniert das Teil für mich sehr gut. Ich biege damit Rohrheizungen (wie die im Elektrogrill)

Für hobbyhandwerk zu empfehlen aber nicht für den Baustellen Gebrauch.

This Siverline MS129 Mini Pipe Bender will bend 4.76mm, 6mm and 8mm,10mm pipes (3/16, 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8). I had no trouble bending a 3 meter long, 6mm thick cupro nickle Kunifer pipe. Grease the top and bottom runners on the bender. Spray lubricant in the pivot joints.Slight or sharper bends can sometimes be done progressively and meticulously with your thumb and fingers if the pipe is thin enough for you to do so. Avoid splitting, creasing or narrowing the pipe by trying to bend it in one move.Take your time when using the pipe bender: Feed the pipe towards you and towards the handle along the bottom curved runner. The zero "0" marker indicates where the pipe will start to bend when you rest the top, flat runner over the top of the pipe. Remember, the pipe can be bent upward, downward, bent slightly over to the left or slightly over to the right depending on how you have placed it on the runner - relative to the first bend you have already made along the pipe when feeding it through.Hold the bottom handle and slowly operate the top lever to bend the pipe downwards. The leverage on the handle makes bending the pipe easy, so don't apply too much force. It's like using a large scissors except the bottom handle is kept steady. The marker goes round from 0 to 180 degrees. Always bend the pipe a little way at a time. Use the old pipe as a template, if you have one, to check when you have reached the correct angle (and that you are bending in the right direction!).

I bought this for bending the fuel lines on a kit car having already messed one up trying to do the job by hand. These seemed a cost effective tool for a one-off job and so they were. I found them a little confusing to use if trying to do a left hand bend as all the guides are set up for right handed bends, but with a little common sense I managed to work it out. Highly recommended as a hobby tool or for a one-off job like mine, but I'd want something more substantial for more frequent work.
