Fit Good but needed a bit of tweaking. it was not shipped in a box. bottom bolt was a bit short but i have plenty stainless bolts and nuts,. it seems to be strong enough to to deflect fishing lines and ropes. If you are thinking about it get it now. I have seen these at a higher price. I have a 1996 Johnson 9.9 high thrust so i ordered the 18 hp one and it was perfect.Johnson 9.9 and 15 are the same except for the carb size.

Fits well and looks to be made well. Would buy again. Amazon had the price.

12HP and 18HP are too small to fit on a Suzuki 9.9Hp outboard. The outboard lower unit must be thinner than 1.75" for either prop cage to fit. Also, the fin on the outboard must be about 5" to work with the clip on the cage (see photos). Finally prop diameter must be less than 11". The clip can be reformed to fit a slightly different fin width but the slot that fits around the lower unit can not be widened so make sure your lower unit is narrow enough to fit (less than 1-3/4").
