This is a bit of a chunkier cue than I'm used to, but it is quite lovely, well made and as a package is very good.The cue itself is big with it's 13mm tip and thicker shaft, it is nicely styled and was very smooth throughout, it has a specific handle on the lower main body which I will admit I'd had preferred full wood look but it does give a nice hold.One complaint on the cue is you fully need to screw them together and it's a fair bit to screw each time, quite often you have an initial runner and then a little screwing but this uses the whole bolt sadly, minor thing but notable.The case is quite lovely however, with it's fake leather it's nice to look at and touch, it has 2 separate runners inside to keep the parts apart and it fits really nicely. It also has a side pouch for holding your chalks and other bits n bobs and a full length strap for throwing over the shoulder, all very nice.

I am no pool cue expert but I must say this Riley Centurion has proved to be unique in many ways. It’s by far the best cue I held in my hands. It has an excellent grip, can be held firmly throughout a game, and shots with this cue are simply millimetre perfect and very accurate.The cue does feel sturdy in terms of build quality but there are no weight compromises. The design is breathtaking and as it is it adds charm to my small pool table area. The cue comes with a handy bag for storage but I prefer to leave it out as it looks very stylish.All in all excellent build quality , grip, and design.

I'm an avid pool player, playing 8 ball pool around three times a week in local leagues. Over the 30 years of playing, I've tried many cues and was on the look out for something I could use as a breaking cue, as the tip on my playing cue isn't ideal for breaking.So, I requested this cue for testing. As expected from Riley, the cue itself doesn't disappoint. It's weightier than my standard cue (this comes in at around 20oz, which isn't listed in the description). It comes with joint protectors for both parts of the cue, but in all honesty, these aren't going to be used from now on.In the hand, it feels pretty well-balanced. The shaft of the cue near the tip is super smooth, there's no snagging, no imperfections, just a silky-smooth finish. The tip needed a little work before use, but that's normal. The butt of the cue is a nice design, it's well manufactured and has a striking appearance. The grip section has a linen covering, that actually feels pretty good in the hand. It adds a little grip, without being too excessive. A really nice touch.The case was not a Riley-branded case, its a BCE branded case. That's really nice too. It's got solid outer walls to protect the cue, both parts fit perfectly snugly into the centre column. And, I love the accessory pouch. I can now (rather than stuffing them inside a case next to the cue), store cleaning cloths, cue tip shapers, chalk, even pens in there without issue.Overall, I'm impressed with this. A quality cue that just feels nice in the hand. Reasonable priced, especially when you factor in that you are getting a decent quality case with this too!
