I am very satisfied with the quality of the product. It is useful and does exactly what I want it to. The only problem I have with the item is the price. I bought two of them for $35, which was a bit expensive IMO, and now it has gone up to $50, which is way too expensive IMO.There are similar boom arms that are twice as long and cost even less, so I dont think the price is reasonable. I only bought it because there were no alternatives and I thought shorter boom arms would come in handy. If the price was lowered to $20, I might buy 5 or 6 more. If the price goes down to $35 again, I might buy 1 or 2 more. But if the price stays at $50, I will probably just use the longer and cheaper boom arms that I already have instead.

This heavy duty extension works great for getting the right angle for my video lights. This solid mount is an inexpensive way to do some overhead shots with your camera as well. It’s versatile and can be used for many different situations. Solid weight behind it gives you confidence in mounting your expensive gear.

I have a bunch of stands and arms, but thought it might be nice to add this shorter arm into my arsenal, so put in an order. The arm is pretty solid, offering virtually no flex under ordinary loads. It is the correct diameter for using with existing grip heads. Both ends are tipped with threaded screws: 1/4"-20 at one end and 3/8"-16 at the other (both standard sizings). While I prefer flat ends, I can see how it's convenient to just have screws integrated into the arm itself. There's not a whole lot else to say about this. It does exactly what you'd expect a c-stand arm to do. I wish it came with an extra grip head as well, as the price point of $29 -while not super high- isn't necessarily the best of values.
