Wish I would have found this sooner. It’s always a mess to service my air compressor. The drain bolt is so low it’s hard to for anything to redirect the oil and it makes a mess. But now I can leave this in and when I’m ready to change the oil just run the motor to warm up the oil so it flows fast then just remove the cap on the end of the hose and drain it straight into a bottle. The hose seem very durable and the ends of the hose are of good quality. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. The cap has a seal and the threaded end that screws on the motor has a o-ring.

I have a little 27 ton log splitter with a Honda engine, and this worked great on it. Fitted right up. Easy to install, and doesn't appear to leak at all. I'm not sure how durable it will be as log splitters tend to have a lot of wood and chips around them. I guess that's why there's a low oil sensor.This should make the next oil change much less messy.
