Daughter swims for a club but prefers to shower at home. After class she puts on her poncho and then has this over the top. Keeps her dry and warm for the journey home.

I bought this robe as it is described as waterproof. I sea swim and then walk afterwards to warm up. I don’r intend on being out in the rain, however you never know with our weather! I ended up in a heavy rain shower whilst walking and was soaked through. I contacted the seller and was advised that it is waterproof, but not completely, only to a certain extent. In my opinion it is water resistant and should not be described as waterproof when it is not. This is what the seller advised by the way, as I thought that maybe I had just received a faulty item and I could exchange it. If you want something that can withstand more than just a light rain shower, then please don’t buy this robe. It’s a real pity, as apart from that it does the job, keeping me warm and also it’s a really great price. I would also like to add that the customer service has been excellent regarding answering my enquiries and allowing a return after having the robe for a few months.
