My other slicer took the end of my finger off. I saw this one and it looked so much saver in design. I like making 1/8" plantain chips and air frying them until crisp. This slicer has a numbered depth dial that, it appears is in 1/8" in increments. It has undesignated half stops in between the numbers that is a 1/16" step. Really accurate. Put the item to be sliced in the chute and push down on the blade driver. Once the sliced item is short enough you continue with the pusher and operate the blade until the item is completely sliced up. Plantains look like a stack of quarters when done. If you use a potato you get potato chips. There is also a set of blades that can be used to slice vertically as well. With a thicker cut setting of the slicing blade and the use of the wider setting of the vertical blade, you get french fries. I also used this with both the vertical blades and the slicing to julianne a cucumber for a nice cucumber salad. Sliced veggie is dropped into a nice tray beneath the cutter.Easy to clean in the dishwasher top rack with low heat drying.I feel safe using this cutter and have disposed of my other slicers.

Endlich ohne Kraftaufwendung schnippeln. Da zusammklappbar gut zu verstauen.

At last a vegetable slicer that my wife actually uses. She has tried about a dozen and all have remained unused or given away. This unit she has been using. Probably due the safety design and the ease of use.

Sehr gut und praktisch

Dies Gerät ist sehr gut, lieber etwas mehr Geld ausgeben. Bloß keine Billigware kaufen, damit bin ich reingefallen.

Das beste was du machen kannst, ist dir so einen anschaffen. Unglaublich. Durchdacht, funktional, einfach zu reinigen, leicht zu bedienen, Klasse! Ich bin restlos begeistert. Brauche meine Küchenmaschine deutlich weniger. Das Messer kann wohl ausgewechselt werden, wie ich dann daran kommen werde, weiß ich noch nicht. Aber noch ist es ja superscharf. Hut ab, ist jeden Cent wert.

Funktion einwandfrei

Die Mandoline ist stabil und gut verarbeitet. Durch kleine Saugnäpfe steht sie sicher auf der Arbeitsfläche. Der Zusammenbau des Gerätes ist einfach, gut durch die beigefügte Anleitung erklärt (Zeichnung) und zum Reinigen schnell zerlegt. Funktioniert wie gewünscht. Genutzt habe ich es gleich für rohe Kartoffeln, Möhren und Gurken. Sogar Orangen lassen sich in appetitliche und gleichmäßige Scheiben schneiden. Bin sehr zufrieden

Für harte/feste Ware ist dieser Küchenhobel gut geeignet. Bei weicher und großer Ware wird es schwierig oder ist nicht möglich.Die Preis-Leistung ist bei unter 30 EUR OK, ich hab 13 EUR mehr bezahlt und hinterher Angebote für unter 30 EUR gesehen.

Ich hätte mich über eine Gebrauchsanweisung in Deutsch gefreut.Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich in 2 Tagen nach erhalt dieses Produktes noch nicht äussern
