If you've spent any time shopping on Amazon you know that many product pages are full of badly-photoshopped images that wildly distort size, so it can be hard to tell, but this brush is wide. It's not going to be as versatile as a normal-sized brush, but it can still do a lot and when it is useful, it really is useful. For the situations where I most often use a silicone brush, this brush had made my normal-width ones obsolete.Spreading tomato sauce on chicken for chicken parmesan? It's a perfect size to cover the entire piece in one stroke. BBQ sauce on a burger? Garlic butter on bread? Again just the right size for both. And when I make pizza, it's much more convenient at spreading around the sauce than a normal brush.The handle is still a normal length, so if you're using this much for grilling, your forearms might get toasty and you may want to look into a longer-handled version instead. But I don't have a barbecue, so for all the times I'm using this brush, the size is perfect. The only real downside is that I need to pay attention to which container I have the sauce in before I spread it, to make sure the brush actually fits to dip it in the sauce.Otherwise, it's a normal silicone brush.
