I love this book! It is exactly as advertised too. I want to use it as a journal/thinking/sketch book. I tried all of my pens (waterproof ink in fountain pens, gel, Microns and Copic Fineliners), Tombows, Mildliners, watercolor wash and graphite watercolors. They all work great! The only thing that bled through was the end build up of using a Mildliner but faint bleeding. When using any wet on this paper use it lightly. No real puckering to show either. I do wish this was in a little heavier weight paper. Lowest I would hope for is 130gsm and ivory color would be good too. Then this would be perfect in what I was looking for. I knew the weight when I purchased and took a chance. Once again, all mediums I use worked but I will have to be mindful. I would recommend and buy this item again.

This is a good size little notebook that you can take on-the-go. I've been looking for pocket sketchbooks with pages that aren't too thick, but that it also needs to be blank. I already have a few pocket-sized notebooks that I take with me to jot down notes and lists, but these all have ruled or grid pages. Sometimes I just want blank pages to doodle or sketch in, alongside my notes. This notebook has blank pages, so that fits my needs. I do wish that the cover is a softcover because I find that those last longer due to the fact that they conform better to the thickness as you fill up the pages.

Looks and feels high quality, and it truly is a thick little notebook. True to the listing spec of 400 pages / 200 unlined sheets, this pocket-sized notebook is much thicker than standard sized ones that are only between 80-100 sheets. Paper is smooth and of a lighter weight, making it better for pencil than pen, although ballpoint and gel pens work fine on the surface. Heavier ink like Sharpies or other markers will bleed, which is normal for books with lighter paper. For anyone who likes to keep a small sketchbook this is great to throw in a bag and take with you on your travels. Heavy and sturdy enough to take some abuse from being constantly thrown in a backpack!

I love this little chunky sketchbook! It is tiny- the size of a small index card, but quite thick- and the paper isn't amazing (no wet media- the paper won't hold up to it) but for color pencils and artist crayons and pen and pencil, it's amazing. I just fill it with color palettes, gesture drawings, layout ideas, sketches on the go, notes on ideas... it's perfect for getting going with art without committing to a "big piece."
