Then simply hang on the door handle with the strap provided and switch on. I found that they dont really detect the door handle turning, when hanging on the strap, but as the door opens it bangs against the door and sets of the loud siren alarm. If you are using this in a hotel, make sure you switch it off before ordering room service, as the surprise is likely to result in your food ending up on the floor.These are great little gadgets and with the price at the time of review around £23 for four, good value too. You can also get a pacxk of two for around £13, so its nice the the seller hasnt penalised those who only want smaller quantities. Five stars.
