Sounds great right? Well. I carefully and gently placed my cat into the bag.I secured the Velcro and petted her.Things were great…until they weren’t!!I had not tried to give her anything . She all of a sudden began primal screams and thrashing in the bag! It was horrible!In getting the Velcro from around her neck, she bit me out of terror!A tetanus shot and antibiotics resulted!My poor kitty. Stick to the towel burrito method and find an assistant.This sack is not the answer!

I have 2 cats that need daily oral medication. Even if they are both pretty docile without the restrain, cats do have different moods for different days and a patient limit when it comes to syringe medicine. This has really helped further reduce stress for both myself and my cats.Will be purchasing a second one one size larger because one cat is just very very long. He fits but barely.Good product. Already used it to help with daily medication, ear cleaning, paw pad fur trimming and sanitary area fur trimming.

My son's cat had a serious wound between his paw pads. At age 12 we never had to medicate him in the past so we hadn't learned yet that he's part barracuda. I own a tiny-framed kitty with a long body (very siamese-y)....I originally got the size smaller than this one, and that was a mistake. These bags/restraining devices run smaller than you'd expect. And she was about 8 lbs when I got this (and is a little bigger now).....still fits. For a cat 7-8 lbs, this bag would work. And it's got great construction, too; impossible to wiggle out of.

This worked great. Our cat rescue group is trying this size, and when we had a fractious youngster, slightly smaller than the lower end of the weight range for this size restraint, we could make it work using all the different velcro adjustments. It is tough and secure, and the neck part is especially safe. The velcro adjustments allowed for vaccinations to be given in both the fore quarter and the hind quarter with one "purrito" wrapping.
