My 11 year old son had a smaller Kookaburra bag before, but we upgraded and bought this one for him as he has accumulated quite a bit of cricket gear and the old bag couldn’t hold it all. This one is bigger and easily carries 2 sets of pads, w/keeper & batting gloves, helmet, 3 bats and a dozen cricket balls. It’s well made with strong zips and a number of different compartments to hold the various accessories that cricketers require and carry. There is a neat panel on one side that holds a bat and there is another one on the side where the carry handles are. Really cleverly designed, sturdy and looks good. I gave it a 4 * as it really could benefit from having wheels to help carry the kit in it. My 11 year old can lift it and get it on his back when full, but can’t carry it over a long distance easily, so would have helped to have wheels. Other bags are available with wheels, so you need to decide if you want to pay the extra.
