This net works, but I don't think it's any better than the no-name brands. I spent an extra $30 over other similar generic brands because this is Joola, and it is pretty poor quality. As another has mentioned, there are three bars on my net that the button that clips and holds it into place is not aligned with the hole on the next bar. I could drill new holes so that it goes together properly, but I was able to use it unfastened without any issues. Other than that, it did the job for some pickle ball whilst camping, and the adjustable net tension is nice.

This is my first net and I would like to say besides the poles being a little flimsy the net held up really well after assembly.

When I first opened the box and laid out all the pieces, assembly looked intimidating. I checked out the instruction pamphlet and couldn’t believe how sparse it was. The truth is, there are many parts because it’s designed to be portable, but it’s quite simple to put together until it comes time to attach the net. My wife and I assembled the frame in about 10 minutes. All the parts are numbered and correspond to the instructions/illustrations. The first instruction was confusing because you are supposed to put the only pipe tapered on both ends through a ‘T.’ When the entire assembly was complete, it made sense as to why this didn’t lock in place but they still had a locking pin on it. (It needs to float or slide for proper net placement.) Building the frame could be a one-person job, but having an extra person makes it much easier. In my opinion, you must have two people in order to place the net onto the frame. The instruction pamphlet has a drawing illustrating the net simply being lowered over the two outer poles and center pole. It would have been much easier if they instructed you to place the center pocket over the center pole first and then stretch the net to the two end poles. And when I say stretch, I mean stretch. It takes some effort and bending of the poles to get the net pockets over the poles. However, when done, it is perfectly taut and the proper height (36 inches on each side, 34 inches in the middle). The Velcro straps make any necessary adjustments to the net quite easy. Their sales site is accurate: quick and easy setup, no tools required, and everything included in a single bag. While it’s touted as a portable system, I’m not taking it down and traveling with it anytime soon, but I believe taking it apart and assembling it again will get easier every time. It’s less expensive than a high-quality pickle ball paddle, making it an excellent bargain for the quality you receive.
