Lange gesucht und nun endlich glücklich und zufrieden. Kein drücken, ideal für Brillenträger, gutes Handling. Bin nach dem 65er und 75er nun mit diesem Basic-Modell happy. Oft ist einfach das Beste

I bought it to replace my old Jabra Evolve 75, which I had for 5 years, and I must say it's an improvement in every aspect. The biggest change is in the microphone quality. Your voice sounds fuller and more natural. It no longer has high spikes when speaking due to noise cancellation. It picks up your voice perfectly, even in noisy environments when working from home with kids and filters out any shouting or banging. The wireless range has improved as well. In places where my old Evolve 75 would cut off or start to sound like broken digital audio, the Evolve2 55 works without issues. The audio quality for music playback is the same great audio. The Evolve2 55 is much lighter than the Evolve 75. It feels like you have nothing on your head compared to the old headset. The earcups are extremely comfortable.Honestly, this must be the best headset I have ever tried, and it's Jabra's baseline model! It's their newest model, showing that the technology has progressed miles ahead in recent years.I would recommend the Evolve2 55 even over the Jabra Evolve2 65 model due to its lower weight and newer technology that really makes a difference. My colleague has the Evolve2 65, and the weight difference is huge. Plus the microphone audio quality and noise cancellation are better on the Evolve2 55.

I use it in an agency with 20 people, all sitting in one big room and the sound during the calls is perfect.

I bought this headset after watching several tests, to replace my old Plantronics DECT headset. Although I really wanted to like it, I must say it does not live up to the hype.Microphone: The microphone is clear and loud, but it does have sort of a metallic sound at the end. It is not natural and somehow weird. It is hard to describe. It is not bad, but I did not like it.Microphone surrounding noise cancelation: This was a big let down for me. Jabra uses a clever technic to filter unwanted noises. If you do not speak, the microphone does not transmit any sounds, so even if you have very loud music or a kid yelling beside you, nobody will hear it, it is like being on mute. The problem comes when you start to speak, your voice is then hacked, and the noises on the background are partially transmitted. Depending on the location of the noise in regard to the microphone, it sometime also transmits everything (attenuated, but clearly audible). It is not terrible, and most of the time does an ok job, but for this price I was expecting more (again in a loud environment).Sound: this is a work headphone made for calls. It does a good job at that, nothing more.ANC: It is literally nonexistent. The headset is an on-ear type. The cushions are comfortable, and they offer decent passive noise cancellation: it is possible to clearly hear your correspondents in a noisy environment. The “Active” noise cancelation is however a joke (for reference I have the original Bose QC35 and the AirPods Pro 2). It does not cancel anything and just uses more battery. It would have been better to not pretend to have it IMO, as this causes false expectations that it does not fulfills.Mute button: It is possible to mute calls by simply pulling up the mic boom. This works well, even though the boom of the microphone feels cheap and fragile. It is also possible to mute the mic by pressing a button. However, the button is badly placed between the plus and minus button. It would be nice to be able to use the ANC ON/OFF button instead, as the ANC does not bring anything anyway.Delay when picking up a call: This is not a deal breaker but something to be aware of. I had a one second delay when connecting to a call before the person on the other end could hear me.Comfort: I personally had pains after one hours calling people, but this will depend on people. It could stay around my neck when not in use without causing any pain though (not too tight).Battery life: It is not great, it last maximum two 8 hours working days, with only maybe 2 hours of active calls each day. The stand is IMO needed if you intend to use it every day.Charging stand: The stand is basically just a USB cable with a guide and the plastic has a weight inside, so it does not move too much. It is a very clever idea, and it mostly works, but you might need to move the headset sometime, before it is properly aligned with the USB plug. It still feels and looks like a cheap solution, sold at a premium price. For the price Jabra charges for the optional stand, I would also expect a charger to be included…Team integration: It works as intended, without the Jabra software installed on my work computer (I would recommend installing the software on another computer to check for update and change the options of the headset)LED: the busy light is a nice touch, but not as useful as I thought. The violet light for Teams notifications did not work reliably (always blinking when no notification or the other way around), but this might be a problem with Teams.Headset Range: it was “fine” but definitely not great. I live in a small 65 sqm flat, and could not go from one side to the other without having issues (it will depend on your walls thickness).TLDR: I bought this headset for the microphone noise cancellation and was disappointed. If you do not work in a noisy environment, a 40€ “jlab go work 2nd gen” does a better job, and if you need a good microphone noise cancellation, a 160€ EPOS 1061T is a better fit. There are also a lot of headset in between that might better fit your needs.
