Test fountain pens before regular useThe Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River / Tomoe River S paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.

The corners of the cover contain light traces of press marks, shines, and lumps. This is an unavoidable part of the manufacturing process.
Cannot be used with a Hobonichi Techo Cover or Cover on Cover. Please use the Clear Cover for HON.The cover of the HON book is thicker and firmer than that of the Hobonichi Techo book. It cannot be used with a Techo cover designed for the standard Hobonichi Techo book. The Cover on Cover designed for standard Hobonichi Techo covers also will not fit the HON. Please use the Clear Cover for HON. Please do not use excessive force when applying the cover as this may cause damage.
About the included pencil boardThe pen hook on the pencil board can hold a pen by its clip.

I only learned of Hobonichi last year... And out of all of my planners -- this is the one I was most consistent with! I absolutely adore the black gingham cover - it fits my vibe and style so much more than the yellow covers. The fact that it has trackers (well it's what I use them for), monthly, weekly, AND daily pages -- the size is actually amazing! So much space to be creative or functional!! If you want to see what I mean - check out it's Amy Y'all on YT -- you should SEE how CHUNKY her planner is at the end of the year, and the spine is still in tact!! The quality can't be beat.The only issue I would say is the paper but I'm sure there are millions of reviews on the paper so I won't go there. I just hope they find a better option for next year.

I love it.It’s very sturdy and the page is high quality.It does bleed through the other pages depending on your pen (Monami for me) but not too much.I love all the different categories and the quotes are hilarious.

What not to like.I spent some time researching organisers, this was my first Hobonichi purchase..... and I love it!You can see a lot of thought has gone into the layout of pages and calendar, I particular like the feel and thickness of the pages.

Kalender kostet sage und schreibe 68,00 Euro und kommt beschädigt an. Offenbar wurde er irgendwo aufgestoßen, sodass die untere Kante zerdrückt ist. Leider habe ich den Kalender erstmal zur Seite gelegt, da er ja für das kommende Jahr ist. Als ich den Schaden reklamiert habe, war die Rückgabefrist um einen Tag überschritten. Amazon verweigert hier eine Ausnahme zu machen. Auch der Hersteller, Hobonichi Official, möchte dieses Problem nicht lösen und antwortet mit Standardfloskeln auf meine Anfrage bezüglich eines Umtausches.Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich hier deutlich mehr Kulanz erwartet, insbesondere wenn man den Preis bedenkt. Schade.

If you know the Hobonichi brand, you know what you're looking for -- quality paper & craftsmanship in the construction of a notebook or planner, etc. This Hon (what Hobonichi calls its newer hardcover version) has a slick cover in deep colors with a whimsical fox on a bike on the front.Inside, the quality is there, just as you would expect. I'd recommend looking up this item on YouTube -- there are plenty of video reviews of it there that go into great detail and show you all the different layouts in this particular planner.The beauty of these is that the paper is extremely thin (like a Bible or dictionary) but stands up to lots of inks, etc., like fountain pens, etc. Because the paper is so thin, they are able to put a lot of pages inside one book, and there are many different layouts one can use for planning purposes.I wish they would make notebooks -- just plain grid with page numbers, or perhaps even dot grid notebooks with page numbers -- in this type of Hon cover design. Lots of pages! That would be a wonderful product. However, if one could convince oneself to ignore the printing on the planner, one could go ahead and use this as a journal.A beautiful product. You pay more for Hobonichis, but if you know about them, you know why & have probably sought them out for their quality.Recommended!
