We bought two tins of Aubergine Purple which wasn't quite enough for a second coat. So we bought a third of exactly the same colour, Aubergine Purple, literally using the buy again option on Amazon. But the third tin was a slightly lighter shade so now we have a weird looking wall with two shades of Aubergine Purple. Nit good at all. Very disappointed. I would not buy again.

Ich brauche vier Anstriche um ein Deckendes Ergebnis zu haben. Sicher auf Rohholz oder angeschliffenem Holz Wäre es sicher einfacher. Aber trotzdem leisten da andere Kreide Farben wesentlich mehr. Ich bin total enttäuscht, zumal diese Farbe teuer ist. Ich empfehle sie nicht weiter

The colour and matte finish are about what I was after so I've give it a couple of stars, that's the good. The bad... in the rain it 'blisters' and develops a 'crazed' look, it seems to shrink back when dry so I can only attribute this to it taking in mositure when the rains come, eventually this will cause it to peel away, probably sooner rather than later. The pictures show the odd texture quite clearly, before the rain it was smooth! The surface was primed with a water based primer and the nsanded before applying this top coat, actually 3 coats as it's pretty light on pigment, so much for the claim of a 'one coat' application!!EDIT: I need to update this review. The rain doesn't seem to be having the same effect on the paint film now that it's been on a while. So perhaps it takes a number of days for the paint to fully cure, I'm not sure, all I can say is, it's okay now. It's still not the opaque paint they advertise and needs a few coats to cover properly but once properly dry it appears stable.

Utterly useless product and certainly does not do as it says on the tin. As the photos show this would require multiple coats and even at that I wouldn't bet on the finished product being anything remotely satisfactory. Our last piece of furniture we up cycled was an old pine varnish bed using B&Q's own range of all things and 1 coat nearly did the job, completely covering the varnished wood perfectly, hell I only did a second coat cause I figured why not but this paint... No the moment I opened it I could tell it was too watery and as soon as I done my first roll I packaged it up and returned it knowing full well it was a dud, avoid.

Colour was lovely, was painting a melamine wardrobe, however had to use a lacquer top coat as it chipped quite easily. Would still recommend as the colour was great and would be brilliant on normal wooden furniture.

Colour was a lot more vibrant in the tin than I expected Aubergine to be. However as it was dark furniture to be painted the end result was good
