Thank you Amazon for selling this item a bit cheaper than in popular hiking stores, also offering this color of green which is not available in stores right now. Since I have almost everything for hiking, I am surprised I didn't try this cup already. Now I see why it is popular. It is super lightweight. The plastic cup comes out of the cover if you like. The cup has measuring lines on it. The cover is attractive and has a handle, which is made of a strap so you can flatten it down for packing. The top is removable and has a flap lid. You can make hot coffee in the cup and hold it without burning yourself. It keeps the hot coffee warm for longer than a cup without a lid (but not as long as an insulated thermos of course). It is very pleasant to be at camp and have the feeling of a normal mug. In summer my favorite backpacking mug has been the sea to summit x mug which flattens down. But for winter backpacking I prefer this mug because it keeps the coffee warmer long enough to drink it.

Love that I found a mug in my favorite color green. Thought the handle might be to thin for my hands but it fits really nice.
