Dual system tape's are nearly all graduated so that a right-handed person is forced to reverse the tape to use the metric scale. This is because they keep putting English measurements on them on the outside (for a right-hander). I tried to find a metric-only tape at Amazon in UK and they suffer from the same malady. This Tape FINALLY allows you to use a metric scale with the graduations appearing on the side where you need them and forget about imperial nonsense. Other tapes mentioned like the Starrett still force you to endure inches and feet. I was taken a bit back when I saw a "16 foot" label in the picture, but the one I received says 5m (as it should). A scale with Inches and feet on it in the primary measurement position should not be referred to as a "metric" scale.

Love to use it as a multi tool,For the long term use I can say that the measurements are correct and that the paint on the measurement tape stays even after a year of use.

Finaly I got meself this gem of tools I use often.Away more easy for me to read the numbers.The price is allways bigger, since those Manufacturing cost is bigger to, and only byers to pay.It is hard to find lefthanded tools overall, and some are simply to expensive.Just happy to see this great messure tabe is not one of them. I think the price is pretty fair.So all lefthanded user should buy one.Buy with confidence.

I like using metric and imperial for different tasks but I hate using tape measures with both, I like the marks to be readable on both sides of the tape, so I carry this tape measure and the fastcap lefty/righty tape, they're both great! Things I like about this tape is the easy to read markings, you're able to write on the tape itself which makes it easy to transfer measurements, there is a pencil sharpener built in, and it feels good in the hand, perfect sized tape for shop use.Things I don't like about this tape is, the pencil sharpener isnt the best, comes in handy in a pinch but its pretty low quality. It's also not the most durable, any time I drop it, it always seems to land right on the hook and ends up getting bent, the tape itself also creases fairly easily and after using it for a few months I notice some spots that are a little bent, it doesn't affect the accuracy or anything, but compared to something like a stanley tape measure which can take a beating, this one needs to be treated a little gentler.
