For my birthday, I splurged and ordered a Gucci tote bag for work. It cost me $2150. When it came, I was shocked to see how cheap, flimsy and generally not worth the money it was. I took it immediately back to the store, got my almost $2200 refunded into my account, and ordered this bag on Amazon. I love this snakeskin tote, it has a beautiful design, it’s vegan, and it’s about 18 times as well made as the Gucci tote I just returned. And I have a bank account with $2120 in it. Win-win.

I ordered the tan, and I'm pleasantly surprised with this tote. It's definitely on the large side and would be the perfect work tote. The "leather" is soft to the touch, but stiff enough to hold its shape. The color on the tan is true british tan, and the material seems substantial enough to last. The bag has a slip pocket on the sidewall to hold smaller items like a cell phone. There are two strong magnets that virtually self close by themselves. The bag lacks a lining, which may be a good thing depending on your preference. Neither the tote or the slip pocket have a zipper, so I wouldn't feel comfortable taking this tote into crowded situations, but for air travel or daily living this tote is perfect. For travel, it's large enough to fit all of your flight essentials and your purse when consolidating your bags. If I could change one thing, it would be to make the handles a little longer OR to include some sort of detachable strap to make it longer so the tote would be a bit more versatile. During the winter, this will be challenge to wear on your shoulder due to the shorter handles, and solely carrying the tote by hand isn't always practical. Overall, this is a great find that doesn't scream amazon essentials. I'd recommend this!

I immediately took to it's rigid yet stylish material (described in the product description as "soft faux pebbled leather, or raffia with faux letather trim). I was drawn to it's large roomy interior, with no hiding places for things to get lost. It is seemingly what I'm going to call "self-contoured" which means it has assumed its shape, and clearly will retain that shape because of its material, and the way it has been put together. On the inside there is only one sizable compartment, so nothing can really get "lost" or hide from you. Its handles are actually all one piece of the whole bag's design so there is no hardware at all. Although I may not be using the proper verbiage for the straps on this bag, they are made as part of the whole bag and not separately so they have to be attached using hardware. But, the key here is that the handles make it versatile enough to wear on the shoulder, arm, or hand-held. The bag has a simple "double-magnetic closure" to help keep its contents secure.I can think of any number of occasions where I could and would carry this tote: a full-day road trip; a weekend get-a-way; a day of shopping at the mall, family picnic.I believe every aspect of this bag says "quality". It has been thoughtfully engineered. For the price, you will get good comfort & fit, great durable material, style and design. I absolutely love this particular print that I ordered, but would easily take it in any of the other colors/designs offered (solid black and solid tan).

This oversized tote in tan faux leather is beautifully crafted and holds its shape well. The smooth exterior and lined interior give it a polished look, and the magnetic button closure keeps everything secure. There's one pocket inside for small essentials.I used it as a beach bag in a pinch and was surprised by how much it held, including two beach towels and more. It also works perfectly as a stylish work bag. Outstanding quality at an awesome price. Highly recommend!
