... sondern als Gardinenstange für nur zeitweise Verwendung im Hochsommer.Ich benutze eigentlich mehrfach in meiner Wohnung solche Teleskopstangen. Für einen Duschvorhang, der aber nur ca. 1 m breit ist, für einen Vorhang in einer Abstellkammer und im Winter für einen Vorhang zum besseren Kälteschutz. Alle diese Stangen halten recht gut, waren aber teilweise etwas umständlich in der Bedienung.In meiner Küche habe ich ein etwa 150 cm breites Fenster, bei dem im Oberfenster im Sommer die Sonne ab Mittags sehr unangenehm hinein blendet und den Raum unwahrscheinlich aufheizt. Eine Folie möchte ich dort nicht installieren, da es sich, wie gesagt, um ein sehr hohes Fester handelt und ich den Raum nicht dauerhaft verdunkeln möchte. Eben nur am Nachmittag, wenn die Sonne so dermaßen blendet. Eine feste Vorhangstange kann ich dort auch nicht anbringen, also war ich auf der Suche nach einer entsprechend langen Teleskopstange. Über das Amazon Vine Programm konnte ich diese Teleskopstange testen und bin wirklich beeindruckt.Meine Sorge war, dass eine so lange Stange doch selbst bei geringen Gewichten durchhängen muss. Aber dieses Problem besteht bei dieser Teleskopstange nicht. Die Stange ist nach 3 verschiedenen Verwendungen nach A-B-C sortiert, wobei A und B die äußeren und C die mittleren Elemente sind. Diese verschiedenen Stangen werden zunächst an den Enden zusammen geschraubt. Immer nur so viele C Elemente, wie für die jeweilige Verwendung gebracht wird. Man schraubt also nur so viele C Elemente an A und B dran, bis die Gesamtlänge der Teleskopstange etwas länger ist, als die Länge die benötigt wird. Zu Befestigen an dem jeweiligen Ort, muss dann lediglich am Ende von Element A bzw. B das Ende nach innen gedrückt werden und die Stange wird so in den jeweiligen Ort sozusagen eingeklemmt. Zur Befestigung muss nur noch ein wenig gedreht und auf korrekten Sitz kontrolliert werden.Die einzelnen Elemente sind richtig stabil und biegen sich nicht und durch die exakte Schraubverbindung ist die Teleskopstange selbst bei dieser Länge gerade.Eine einfache und stabilen Anwendung ohne extra Bohren zu müssen.Ach ja, an den jeweiligen Enden von Element A und B ist eine etwas breitere FLäche und diese mit weichem Gummi/Silikon verkleidet; zum Schutz der Oberfläche.Ob diese Teleskopstange für alle Wände geeignet sind, kann ich nicht beurteilen, denn bei mir sind die Wände aus Stein.

It is made up of segments that you screw together.The length is partly adjusted by adding or removing segments that you can screw together, and one end has a spring in it and can be adjusted by rotating it like a standard shower curtain rod.The description says it can hold 20 kg with 1 middle segment and 5kg with 3 middle segments.ASSEMBLYThe rod I received is the 76-256 cm one. This variation has 7 segments in total, 2 ends, and 5 middle segments.It was easy to assemble, you just screw the pieces together. Each segment is 31cm long so if the length between the two walls is less than 250cm you will not need all the segments.Unfortunately, the item I received has a defect. The hole on one of the ends is slightly too large so you can't screw it together. This is not great, but the tension from the spring can hold it in place and I can hold it together with tape.TESTI intend to use this rod for drying clothes. Wet clothes can be heavy, so I wanted to test the strength of the rod.My bathroom is 145 cm wide, so I only needed 2 of the 5 middle segments. According to the item description, the rod can hold 10 kg when you have 2 middle sections.To test the strength, I decided to hang a backpack with 5kg of rice inside, which is half of the maximum weight.TEST RESULTSThe rod held 5 kg of weight without a problem and I am very impressed with the strength. The rod bent only slightly, and I assume it could hold 10 kg without being damaged.It seems to be much sturdier than my other rods which have the standard design. Possibly the design using segments makes it stronger than the ones that are a single long retractable rod.CRITICISMOne problem with this rod is that if you attach a curtain with rings, which is the main intended use, the rings will get slightly caught on the ends of the segments. If the rings get caught you just pull the curtain a bit harder and it moves.It's not a huge problem because you don't have to open and close the curtain 100 times a day, but it can be annoying if you want to quickly and smoothly open or close the curtain. I plan to use the rod to dry clothes, so this particular flaw doesn't bother me.As mentioned before, my item is defective and one end cant be screwed together. It is possible that I just had bad luck and this defect is not common. The item has 7 segments in total, and only 1 of the segments cant be screwed on.CONCLUSIONI assume that most customers want a curtain rod to hang a shower curtain in the bathroom or perhaps to hang a normal curtain in the living room. As I mentioned, other people might be annoyed that the curtain rings will not slide quickly and smoothly with this rod due to the ends of the segments.The short segments make the rod easier to transport, but I assume most people probably don't need a more portable rod. If you do then it could be an advantage.Also as I mentioned, my item had a defect. If I purchased it, I would have returned it and exchanged it for a new one. But even with the defect, I can still use it, and it is possible that this is a rare defect.For my intended use, strength is the most important. I was very impressed with the strength of the rod, so the good outweighs the bad and I am satisfied with the product. I will give it 4 stars.This product also comes with a 3-year guarantee from the manufacturer. It seems they will replace the item if it breaks, which is good. The 3-year guarantee is a definite advantage over other rods that do not have any guarantee.If you need a rod that allows you to smoothly slide open a curtain, then a different rod is probably better for you. But if you want a strong rod that can hold more weight and you can tolerate the flaws, then I can recommend this rod for you.

Ich hatte mir diese (Dusch)-Stange eigentlich als praktische Lösung vorgestellt, um einen schweren Vorhang als Schallschutz vor einer Tür aufzuhängen ohne dafür Bohren zu müssen oder anderweitig eine feste Halterung anzubringen. Leider hat sich das Produkt in der Praxis nicht wirklich bewährt.Die Idee mit den verschraubbaren Stangensegmenten macht die Stange natürlich in der Breite erstmal flexibel und auch praktisch für den Versand. Aber von den gelieferten Stangen ließen sich gerade mal zwei fest miteinander verbinden. Bei den anderen hat das eingepresste Gewinde entweder gar nicht gegriffen oder hielt nur so lose, dass die Teile direkt wieder auseinanderrutschten. Das ist natürlich nicht im Sinne des Erfinders und macht es im Grunde nutzlos ohne eigene Bastelei.Zwar hält die Stange den Vorhang jetzt erstmal aber wirklich Vertrauen in die Stabilität oder Haltbarkeit habe ich nicht. Störend ist auch, dass sich die Vorhangringe beim Auf- und Zumachen regelmäßig an den Verbindungsstellen verhaken. Das macht das Ganze im Alltag einfach unpraktisch und wenig komfortabel und zerrt zusätzlich an der geflickten Konstruktion.Ich habe in den Bewertungen gesehen, dass ich mit diesem Problem offenbar nicht allein bin und auch andere das mit dem schlecht greifenden Gewinde kritisiert haben. Das spricht entweder für ein grundsätzlich schlechtes Design oder schlichtweg für mangelhafte Produktionsqualität.Für leichte Einsatzzwecke mag die Stange vielleicht noch ausreichen, aber wer etwas Robusteres sucht oder wie ich einen etwas schwereren Vorhang nutzen will, sollte lieber nach einer anderen Lösung schauen.
