It was advertised. Very quiet while tumbling. Has a good lid seal.

Sealing lid doesn't sit right. When it is in deep enough to seal there isn't enough of the bolt to screw the lid onto. If you aren't perfect to the millimeter getting it on it won't seal. Also the knob is only about 4 or 5 threads deep. Whoever designed this knew nothing about tumblers and made a cheap knock off. Virtually unusable and I would have returned it but I needed to polish jump rings and all my other barrels were full of rocks. Avoid this brand.

Very expensive for what it is, plus there are no ribs inside to tumble the media, and the "lid" is unfinished so very sharp on the edges. Also an inordinately long wait, I was given to understand by the ad it was made in the U.S but like so much these days it's made in China and for some reason posted to and through Australia to the the U.S then to U.K ? Hence the high price and the long wait! Would not purchase from this seller again.

I think the tumbler is missing the washer that gives extra strength to the lid when securing the lid. Time will tell how secure the lid is. I'm using the tumble barrel for polishing only.
