This reel is an absolute beast of a value. While certainly not on the "low end" of price points, this reel fishes much like some of it's competitors in the $450-$550 range. It's light, it's drag is amazingly smooth, it casts incredibly well and when coupled with good quality braided fishing line, it doesn't backlash often at all.You can take this reel anywhere from 20lb-65lb braid so it has a wide set of applications that you can use it for. I personally use it for chatter bats, jigs and top water on a medium heavy action rod.-mM
