Day 1, product arrived on time and after looking closely at the seems and general craftsmanship Im pretty impressed at the quality. Purchased this to go over the Eberlestock Warhammer bag. Due to the bags different drastic size configerations I was concerned that finding a decent rain cover was going to be an issue. This product fits like a glove and is suprisingly adjustable becouse of the 550 cord like drawstrings that go the entire circumerference of the product. Will uodate after next weeks field exercise. Calling for lots of rain, so hopefully its as waterproof as it is adjustable.

Have you been on a ruck and it started raining or in the field and have morning dew on your gear. This keeps your ruck dry and light. Water equals weight, weight equals to pain.

This thing is clutch, so this can fit over a large molle ruck with sustainment pouches. You can wear this while you are rucking and raining on you and make all your buddies jelous because you have a dry sleeping bag and their s*** is soaked. It's easy to put on and take off in a hurry. It is the same material as a poncho so it's susceptible to rips, but it is durable.

Positive: Will fit (tightly) over a cubed-out military MOLLE II rucksack with two cubed-out sustainment pouches attached, so it's got a LOT of room inside. Edging is a combination of enclosed 550 cord with slide lock and elastic material. This allows the unit to be cinched down tight around your pack if it's smaller than the MOLLE II combination above. The rain protection is adequate; do not mistake this as being a watertight cover, which is impossible for a rucksack or backpack cover (think of it like the shower cap your wife wears in the shower).Neutral: The material is adequate, not nearly as heavy as an standard US military poncho, but heavy and thick enough to take a certain amount of abuse. Remember, this is a rain cover, intended to keep your ruck and contents dry, not to protect against very rough use.Negative: IMO this is overpriced for what you get. It's quality is OK, but there's not really very much there. I'd have been much happier if the price were 1/3 to 1/2 lower, but this is a personal opinion.Conclusion: If you need a rain cover for your ruck this will definitely do the job.
