Die hervorragende Qualität von Chameleon Furnier Kanten rollen (auch bekannt als Furnier Rand Streifenbildung oder Holzfurnier-Klebeband). Since this was my first time using this kind of product, I found an expert's video advice on the Web and followed it.Among other things, the expert told me to: (1) cut the strip a little oversize in length (about 1/2"); (2) glue one edge of the strip even with the most visible side of the work, and later trim the excess (from inside) on the other side with a utility knife; (3) to set the iron at its highest heat setting; and (4) to use the iron to glue the strip in place 2-3 inches at a time, while pushing to set the bond. (On my own, I learned to clean the iron's bottom surface with solvent before use to avoid discoloring the strip.)With this advice, I was able to cover up damage from use to the paint on a DIY kitchen shelf, as shown. The veneer strips are on the facing edge at the bottom and the first 3/4" of the top of the shelf bottom.To give this repair a professional look, I had to sand the veneer strips with a 220 grit sanding sponge and apply two coats of urethane, with light sanding in between. Once the glue cools and sets, the bond seems strong, and the result was clean and professional looking.

The banding was easy to apply & stayed with no problems. A quick sanding & the stain & finish was complete. I would recommend it for both DIY & professional applications.

Non è rosso ciliegio come mi aspettavo ma è molto più chiaro, praticamente è beige.

Good quality and looks good, however it was paler than expected.However it stained well and gave an excellent finish
