The unit is well built, feels good quality and works well on the bike.However, the distance, speed etc. differ on the unit from those displayed and recorded on the Android phone app. So, if like me you want to upload the ride to Strava, it doesn't equate to the actual distance/speed of the ride, as per the unit itself.There's maybe a 2% difference but that can add up to quite a lot on a longer ride.

Does not connect to phones that have Bluetooth 5.0. This could be a good device. Unfortunately, if you don't have an old phone then there is no way to configure it. Interestingly, Cateye knows about this and you can find small print information about the problem on their website.Funnily enough, this problem does not exist with the cadence and speed sensor attached. It connects with no issues.

This is not good it looks you need something else to connect and see it running in your bike no good to be honest…

Leider ist die Bluetooth Verbindung nicht immer stabil. Mal funktioniert es problemlos, mal geht die Kopplung nicht, oder sie geht nach einiger Zeit verloren.

Ich habe nach einem Radtacho aus dem mittleren Funktions- und Preissegment gesucht, welcher per Funk (Bluetooth) Geschwindigkeit, Trittfrequenz und Herzfrequenz während der Fahrt anzeigen kann und welcher die Fahrten auf das Smartphone bzw. weiter an Dienste wie Strava übertragen kann. Navigation war mir nicht so wichtig, da würde ich im Bedarfsfall das Smartphone nehmen.Der Padrone Digital erfüllt genau diese Anforderungen sehr gut. In Kombination mit dem Cateye GoPro Halter (sehr wertig, aber auch teuer) und einer GVolt 70.1 eine sehr elegante Kombination (siehe Bild). Hauptkritik von meiner Seite gibt es an der gewöhnungsbedürftigen Bedienbarkeit der Android App, welche aber nach einer Eingewöhnung tut was sie soll. Weiterhin wäre es schön neben Max und Durchschnitt auch einen Verlauf der Werte an das Smartphone übertragen zu können, was aber wohl höherpreisigen Geräten vorbehalten ist.
