This device completely eliminates issues with rain blurring the camera. Pops on easily. Only downside is that it somewhat distorts the night view. Still, much easier than having to blow the rainwater out every time it rains!

Had a bad rainstorm recently and found my camera foggy. Brought it in and it was still foggy. Unfortunately out of warranty surrounded it with silica cat litter (same as the do not eat packets found in electronics) and it sucked all the moisture out and camera is working again. But was looking to protect the camera. Figured this was a little bit of a gamble considering the review about the night vision.I turned off all the outdoor lights, turned night vision on high, yes there was glare, i removed the cover still glare you can see the lens shape in that glare, so that's a design issue, no difference at all with the cover. Frankly rather have it a little more protected from moisture with this, than without.
