Blu-Ray-DVD-Laufwerk, teil für Sony PS3 Slim KES-450A KEM-450AAA Mechanismus, CECH-2001A

It looks a few test runs and a cleaning DVD but thanks to this replacement, my PS3 works again.It didn't come with the four rubber circular feet, but I just used the old ones anyways.

These lasers are just ones pulled from junk PS3 slim’s, so hopefully you’re getting one from a PS3 that had a bad power supply or some other unrelated laser issue. The one I received had a bad/dead Blu-ray laser, and actually worked worse than the one it was supposed to replace. The PS3 uses the Blu-ray laser to ID the disc type first, then switches to the appropriate laser to continue reading the disc (infrared for CD, red for DVD, and blue-violet for Blu-ray). So if the Blu-ray laser is bad, then it won’t read anything because it can’t figure out how to proceed. Since all PS3 disc games are Blu-ray, this is usually the first laser to go bad. You’ll know the drive is having trouble ID’ing the disc by the eject-sounding clunk as it reseats the disc in attempt to trying ID’ing it again. Just wish these units were tested properly before being resold since that’s the whole reason for buying a replacement.

Bonjour, je me suis procuré cette lentille dans le but de réparer mon lecteur blu-ray qui n’était pas capable de lire mes jeux. Cette lentille est compatible avec la PS3 SLIM CECH-3000. Pas compliqué à installer car il existe des tutoriels sur YouTube qui expliquent en détail l’installation. J’ai enfin retrouver ma PS3 et elle n’a pas de difficulté à lire mes jeux maintenant!Je suis ravis et je conseille cette lentille!

I had my PS3 packed away for several years and had the thought of giving it as a gift for my 10 year olds. It seemed to run perfectly except for the fact that it read dvds perfectly but not game blue ray discs.There is so much help on YouTube regarding this problem. I tried cleaning the laser lenses but that didn’t help. Finally stumbled upon this product, went ahead and bought it.Installation was a breeze but it didn’t work the first time. Mainly my fault as I had a disc in the drive when disassembling the drive. Found another video on YouTube that helps with recalibrating the drive, which was easy as well. All said and done, it works really well so far.A little bit pricey compared to other brands in Amazon, but this was the only one in stock.Happy with the purchase. Added bonus is the inspiration I gave to my kids by fixing this myself!
