This is my very first time building a gunpla and I am obsessed! It was super fun building Nadleeh! The package came super protected and it arrived pretty quickly! It took me approximately 3 hours to build from start to finish. The instructions were fairly simple and the stickers were of good quality.

I spent two rainy afternoons relaxing with this model. By American standards, the term "model" is kind of misleading - yes, it comes with all parts in plastic frames, and it must be assembled. But it's really more like build-your-own action figure. There is no glue involved at all. The parts all snap together and are well made so that you shouldn't have to force or reinforce anything. I was impressed with the construction and relative simplicity of the joints. The instructions are in Japanese, but if you are good at following illustrations, the directions are intuitive and the steps are well mapped out. Each step of assembly is numbered - pay attention to the numbers, and the sequence of steps will be fairly easy to follow. There are a handful of icons which make perfect sense if you take the time to study them and use your noodle - they generally refer to parts and/or decals being symmetrical vs. facing one side or another (i.e. it makes a difference what side of the figure you put them on), or refer to parts that are very tiny or delicate. The finished product is a highly articulated figure that is extremely easy to pose, and it is well balanced enough to stand up without help. The weapons are exchangeable as you get extra hands for Nadleeh that snap on and off at the wrist joint. (Warning: GN Cannon is not included in spite of the fact that it is shown on the box - I still haven't figured out whether this is a separate model or not.) The decals are fairly high quality and they stay stuck once you burnish them into place.I wouldn't exactly classify this as a beginner's piece, but if you are a youngster who is eager to try it, don't be shy about getting your folks or older sibling to help you out. I think you'll be happy with the results.I will caution that Virtue is a separate model kit and at the 1/144 size they do not combine at all. The finished Nadleeh is maybe 5-1/4" tall if it's standing absolutely straight.I believe some other reviewers painted some parts on the model, but I found no need to. It looks just fine without. The one thing you might find useful is either a small pair of model clippers or a modelling knife, with which to clip the pieces from the flashing. In a few cases I found it handy to have a small metal file on hand to smooth away the lumps from the frame (the clippers help to eliminate this). This was an extremely satisfying figure to build. I've already ordered Virtue and Seravee.

As a relative newbie to Gundam models, I found this model an absolute blast to build. Like with the other kits in this series, instructions are easy to follow, and Nadleeh snaps together easily with no need for glue. Painting isn't a requirement either with the included sheet of foil stickers, though admittedly paint does enhance the finer details of the mech itself. The kit also features a number of accessories, including arm-mounted shield, GN rifle, and two beam sabers with blades (the latter of which I've noticed is lacking from certain other Gundam 00 kits).Nadleeh proves highly poseable and quite easy to stabilize/balance no matter the position, something neither my 1/100 Kyrios or 1/144 Dynames can boast. The mech's overall design is wonderfully slim, keeping its center of balance precisely where it should be, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the feet had such a wide range of motion - one aspect I found lacking in my other models, and what helps this figure's stability. The joints move smoothly and easily, without being too loose - a trait I've observed of this line in general. Thus far, I've only noticed two negatives of this kit. I would have enjoyed the ability to transform between Virtue and Nadleeh, but that feature might be too much for a 1/144 model. (For that, I'd have to upgrade to the 1/100 size.) Secondly, the red foil stickers for the arm shield have some difficulties adhering firmly to the plastic, so it might be a good idea to paint that section. (I've found Sharpies work wonders.)Overall, this is a top-notch kit with more features than I expected. An excellent addition to any Celestial Being armada.
