I was looking to replace the standard manufacturer's stereo in my 2009 Chevrolet Captiva (LTX model). The standard stereo is a double din and the stereo I have is a single din, so conducted a bit of research. I found this on another car entertainment provider's web site but it was more expensive, so opted for Amazon. There's a youtube video which shows you how to replace the stereo, but essentially, you remove the silver coloured panels on each side of the stereo (the panels cover the air vents) and that reveals the fixing screws next to the stereo. Unscrewing the 4 screws (2 on the left and 2 on the right) allows the stereo to be pulled out and it's a matter of unclipping the leads to remove the unit altogether.I placed the frame around the gap left by the stereo and screwed the 4 screws back it which secured the frame. Feeding the leads through the top gap, I attached my stereo and slid it back in place and slid in the bottom shelf - job done!A couple of things to note - the car's leads are not iso compatible. You will need an adaptor to fit an iso block, if that's what your stereo takes. Also, fit the shelf last - having such a large gap to work with helped with fitting the stereo. Once the shelf is 'clicked' into place, you will not get it out unless you unscrew and remove the frame.
