Archangel's Legion: Book 6 (The Guild Hunter Series)

Another amazing book by Nalini. It was an amazing read as all her books are and this is not the first time that I have read this book or this series but each time I do reread these books it feels like reading them for the first time. Amazing.

The action doesn’t stop, from page one right through it’s e intense situation after another. It’s interlocked with moments of heat and sweetness between Raphael and Elena, and they are still learning what it means to be a pair, but it’s an impossible book to put down.

Retour avec Elena et Raphaël.! Les oiseaux tombent les anges aussi ! Entre Intrigues ,doutes et culpabilité Elena va devoir s'adapter très vite car la guerre approche et trouver sa place entre ces deux mondes les immortels et les amis humains .Mais face à ce qui arrive après tout ne faut il pas mieux vivre le présent ? C'est son amie Sara qui lui dit le rythme du livre va crescendo suspense, rebondissements retournement ! C'est haletant ! Les sept de Raphaël doivent se regrouper et du coup on en apprend un peu plus sur Illium, on s'attache à un Naasir si intriguant et qu'on devine espiègle et attachant et on nous alléche avec Aschvili et Janvier qui seront enfin les héros du prochain livre ! Alors venez venez dans l'univers des archanges et des chasseurs de la guilde ce monde est passionnant bien écrit etrelativement bien traduit dans la version française que j'ai acheté à sa parution quand elle est sortie pour ce tome

Ich hab mich auf das Buch gefreut und es auch zügig durchgelesen. Es kann zwar nicht an das erste Band heranreichen, ist aber eine schlüssige Fortsetzung und mit etlichen alten Bekannten. Alles in allem für mich ein gelungenes Buch, das ich weiterempfehlen kann.

Okay, maybe it's just that I can't get enough of Elena and Raphael.But this book is simply stunning. I've struggled with Dmitri and Jason's books since their characters are not my favourite, but the story of this book was everything I could've wished for! Read it if you haven't yet, but then again, read it again if you already have. I'm rereading the entire series for the 8th time and I just have to say, the GuildHunterSeries is my favourite of all book series (sorry, Tolkien...)

Die 374 Seiten sind unterteilt in 45 Kapitel + Epilog und deswegen auch sehr einfach stückweise und mit Unterbrechung zu lesen. Allerdings wird man das Buch wohl in einem Rutsch durchlesen wollen, was auch nicht schwerfallen sollte. Der Verlag gibt für das Buch gleich 5 Schlagworte an: "Gothic / Romantic / Action / Funny / Sexy" und tatsächlich ist von allem etwas enthalten. Natürlich kann man die Detailverliebtheit kritisieren und dass die Handlung sich diesmal viel Zeit nimmt, bis sie zur Sache kommt, trotz allem ist Nalini Singh eine begnadete Autorin.

Ein Roman in der Welt der Engel und Gildejäger. Im Fokus stehen erneut Elena und Raphael - beteiligt sind die üblichen Verdächtigen. Wie zu erwarten gibt es jede Menge Spannung, Erotik und toll geschriebene Handlung, die Charaktäre werden erneut weiterentwickelt und man steigt immer tiefer in die Geschichte ein. Nalini Singh ist einfach die Königin der erotischen Fantasy.

The 6th book of the Elena and Raphael's series doesn't disappoint my expectations at all. It was full of actions, we can see the Seven all together again with Raphael and how their characters evolve. When the book ends you just want to scream "GIVE ME THE NEXT ONE NOW" because Sigh Nalini is so good to keep you reading on and on. I really like this book and you will do as well if you love Elena and Raphael.

タイトルと最初の方の話から戦争という展開が分かっており、個人的にあまり戦争物は好きではないので不安だったのですが、後半は止まらず一気読みでした。さすがSingh作品です。Raphaelはリーダーとして、ElenaはConsortとして成長。IlliumとAodhanはもう可愛いの一言です。前巻の展開の続きで必然的にDmitriとJasonの出番が少なめなのが少し残念ですが、代わりにIllium、Aodhanが活躍してくれるので満足でした。最後にVampireが生まれた理由になる話があり、そこから考えるとElenaはVampireを作る必要がないのかも？とちらりと頭に浮かびましたが、結果は百年以上先にならないと分からないことなので果たしてこの疑問には答えてもらえるのか。。。同じく時間が掛かるので当分完成が見れそうにないのがElenaのGuard。とりあえず3人メンバー決定のようですが、先が楽しみです。結局これまであった問題できちんと解決を見たのは1つだけ（ElenaはRaphaelの弱点なのかどうか）な気がします。さすがにそろそろLijuanとの対立は終わりにして良いのではないかと。次巻に期待です。

Das Buch hat mir wieder richtig gut gefallen. Nachdem es in den letzten Büchern eher um die Nebencharaktere der Reihe ging, geht es nun endlich wieder um Elena und Raphael. Es gibt natürlich wieder viele Ungereimtheiten, die es zu lösen gibt. Besonders Aodhan hat mir gut gefallen, der sich endlich ein bisschen öffnet und zeigt das er auch anders kann, als kalt und unnahbar zu sein. Hoffentlich geht es im nächsten Band so weiter.Fazit: Meiner Meinung nach ist dies eins der besten Bücher der Reihe um Elena und Raphael! Verdiente fünf Sterne!

In Archangel's Legion wird die Beziehung zwischen Elena und Raphael weiter erzählt.Elena, als Baby-Engel, ist weiterhin dabei sich ihren Platz und ihre Anerkennung unter den Engeln zu erarbeiten. Auch lernt sie langsam ihr Aufgabenfeld als Gefährtin eines Erzengels kennen und übernimmt Verantwortung. Raphael andererseits muss sich mit einer neuen Fähigkeit auseindersetzen, welche ihm zu Beginn ziemliche Schwierigkeiten bereitet.Archangel's Legion ist auch ein Buch über die Angst. - Neben dem aufziehenden und später auch stattfindenen Krieg mit Lijuan bekommt man einen guten Eindruck über die jeweilige Angst von Elena, Raphael, Jeffrey, Aodhan und Evelyn.Neben Momenten der Angst gibt es natürlich auch schöne Momente. Meine waren:- Elena und Ransom auf einem Motorrad- Montgomery und Eve (Kekse:-))- Das Spiel über dem Hudson River- Illium berührt Aodhan- Jeffrey berührt Elenaund Naasir knappert an Elena.Auch musste ich entdecken, dass ich mich in Montgomery verliebt habe:-)!

It's no secret that I've become a bit of a Nalini Singh fan girl since I discovered the Guild Hunter series, I'm slowly working my way through her Psy-Changeling books too and really enjoying them but Raphael and Elena will always have a special place in my heart. Because I'm such a huge fan I always have very high expectations when I pick up a new Nalini Singh book and I'm always slightly nervous that I've built the series up so much in my memory that it can't possibly live up to them. Thankfully NS never fails to not just meet but completely surpass my expectations though and with every single book she just makes me love her writing more.It's been a while since we had a book where Raphael and Elena were the main players and as much as I've enjoyed getting to know some of the other characters in the series I was incredibly excited to go back to my favourites. I adore everything about this couple, the way they have changed and grown together throughout the series has been incredible to watch. They still have their issues but I love that they always put each other first, they are aware of their own insecurities and personal issues, they know each other's triggers and most importantly they are willing to put in the effort needed to make a success of their relationship. They don't always agree with each other but they talk things through and even Raphael has learnt to compromise in certain situations. Elena and Raphael are both so much stronger together than they ever could be apart and their relationship is incredibly swoon worthy. I honestly think I could read 100 different books about them and not get bored!As if spending time with Raphael and Elena wasn't enough we also get some incredibly poignant moments between Illium and Aodhan, ones that will bring happy tears to your eyes and make you even more desperate to read their stories. I'm also incredibly curious about Naasir after getting to know a bit more about him. All of Raphael's seven have a major part to play in this one along with Elena's fellow Guild Hunters so we get to catch up with a lot of familiar faces - I have no idea how Nalini Singh manages to pack so much into her stories but she does it like an expert. There are some epic fight scenes that are described so well it's almost like watching a movie (boy would I love to see this series on the big screen!) and the action is pretty much non-stop throughout.I really don't want to say much about the plot because I think you're much better off going in knowing as little as possible to make the most of the experience. What I will say is that Archangel's Legion is a completely and utterly addictive read, it will break your heart, it will make you laugh out loud, you'll be shocked, horrified, angry and upset one minute then ecstatically happy and swooning the next. One thing you won't be able to do is put the book down for a single second so clear your diary before you start reading! This book is a game changer in terms of the series, it opens up so many possibilities that I can't even guess at where Nalini Singh is planning on taking us next but I do know it'll be one hell of an adventure. I think I'd have to say that Archangel's Legion is now my favourite instalment of the series and that's saying something considering how much I've loved the previous books. I honestly can't recommend this series highly enough to paranormal romance and urban fantasy fans, it really is essential reading!
