Very comfy sneaker. Lots of toe room. Specially good after a bunion operation on both feet. Have bought more sneakers from altra. Very welled cushioned. I love them.

The shoes were plenty wide enough, but they had a strange bump opposite the arch, by the side of my foot. It felt like it was digging into my foot. I had to return them

Narrower than most Altras, good performing shoe, however the typical tearing of the fabric around the toebox. Less than 4 months of use with about 100 miles on them. Shoe quality seems to have degraded in recent years. Because they were not purchased on altra's website, they will not honor the 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

Ive had two foot surgeries and plantar fasciitis in both feet. These shoes are the most comfortable for long walks. I love these shoes!

I love Altra shoes for thru hiking, I have hiked over 5,000 miles in my Lone Peaks but they are too expensive to keep using so I am looking for alternates. These outroad shoes are great. They are comparable to the Lone Peaks, a little more cushion in the midsole which was nice on a recent 100 mile hike. The bottom is not solid rubber like the lone peak, there are spots where the foam peeks thru, I assume this is to cut costs and save weight in the shoes, but as long as I choose my trails carefully and I am not walking on lava or sharp rocks they hold up fairly well. I will continue to keep these in rotation especially for dirt and softer trails where I don’t need the tread as much. I woukldn’t want to use these on lava rocks or really sharp technical terrain, I would default to the lone peaks for that. But if you are looking for something a little more cushiony and cute these are perfect for a long hike or run.

Especially good for people with "problem" feet - I have neuromas and these shoes have a wide box and zero drop which is so much more comfortable than "regular" sneakers!
