Mission 

The University of Michigan Dance Marathon Alumni Connection strives to ensure that all supporters of the University of Michigan Dance Marathon are able to maintain lasting relations with and demonstrate support for the organization, its mission, and its cause long after they have graduated.

The Alumni Connection is, in essence, the alumni association of UMDM. As such, we intend for the Connection to create community amongst U of M alumni that support UMDM. We hope that they are not only able to forge a close relationship with the organization, but also with other members of both the Connection and UMDM. The Alumni Connection will serve as a means to create and develop networks, as well as a forum for alumni to share their experiences within UMDM, their ideas, and offer their assistance.

Member benefits

Members of the Alumni Connection will have access to the most up-to-date information on both the Connection and UMDM via regular email and two yearly newsletters. Furthermore, you will automatically gain membership to one of our four regional chapters located throughout the U.S. Eventually, we hope to offer members with promotional packages and discounts on UMDM merchandise, as well as from our sponsors, in addition to easily accessible forums for discussion and member pages on our upcoming website.

Member registration

To become a member of the Alumni Connection, in addition to the completion of the registration form, one must also submit a $15 registration fee (please make all checks out to “Dance Marathon”). This registration fee is to be submitted on an annual basis, if one wishes to retain membership. Registration forms may either be sent with registration fees or emailed.
