Versatile, very well priced router with two styles of base and a range of accessories for cutting alongside straight edge and bushing for running alongside a template. Great value package that is very versatile. I've used both trim and plunge bases and very happy with both. My previous trim router now relegated and will probably be built into a small table as I'll use the Trend router more often in the loose.

Great little trim router. I was initially going to order the basic router, but ended up getting the extra plunge base and accessories set for the same price in the Black Friday deals.It all comes stored in a strong canvass zip up bag, with everything neatly organised. Dust guards for both the trim base and plunge base are supplied, along with straight edge guide, trimming guide, collet spanner, and the usual manual and warranty info.Using Trends own brand bits, I tested it on some off cuts of softwood, hardwood and MDF. It cut nice clean, accurate edges with ease. Very pleased so far. Time will tell how robust it is. Looking forward to using it on a few projects in the new year.

I grabbed the Trend T1 Dual-Base Router because I needed something versatile for my woodworking projects. This 710W tool with a 1/4" collet feels just right for trim work and plunge cuts.The dual bases are a game-changer; one for trimming with a max depth of 37mm and another for plunging up to 60mm. The precision centering system makes setup a breeze, and the variable speed control is perfect for different woods.I have used this with a jig to fit hinges to multiple fire doors and normal panel doors and I will say this speeds up the process dramatically. I use a bearing bit which allows it to glide around with ease. Paired with the trend corner chisel this router is fantastic. Plenty of power.I honestly can’t fault the price value for money with all you get in the kit.The handles are comfy, and the dust extraction helps keep my workspace clean when paired with the trusty Henry. If you're looking for a reliable, compact router for detailed work, this is a fantastic pick.

This is from a pure amateur who has never used a router before I find this to be fantastic value for money the build quality in my opinion is absolutely astounding it’s designed very well the speed is excellent functionality is perfect fits in the hand perfect didn’t want battery operated don’t mind the long cable it’s ideal I believe from working with this tool I’ve found another go to name for my tools it came packaged absolutely perfect the personal carry bag is a great bonus for keeping it in and the accessories in and safe I definitely recommend this tool
