Like a lot of collectors, I could not get my hands on a G1 Breakdown to complete my Menasor. It doesn't look like Hasbro has any chance to make that right either, which isn't ideal because I spent 150 on an incomplete toy and the final piece is unobtainable unless I want to spend 6 times what the figure is worth.However, this little guy, while being a really bright color, does fit in with the Legacy G1 Menasor perfectly. None of the product packaging indicated he would be a good stand in, but I took the risk because I wanted to complete my giant robot.Overall, he's a decent replacement for the white Breakdown, so he gets 5 stars. Well worth the purchase!

Worst feeling official figure since before the WFC trilogy. I got this version of Breakdown to complete my Menasor set because the G1 colors are virtually impossible to find. So this thing's basically a remould of Wildrider. Transformation is 1 to 1 the exact same. If you've messed around with Wildrider, you'll no doubt remember the clear plastic windschield barely clearing a section of the torso when going into robot mode.On Wildrider, this is mostly ok. The tolerances don't exactly inspire confidence, but the part does clear what it needs to clear. If only barely.Now for some God-forsaken reason, the clear plastic on G2 Breakdown is far less sturdy. As in- it bends. And when you have a transformation joint with basically no tolerance, bad quality control and a plastic that's already predisposed to bending... Yeah, the back of the widshield snapped off the 3rd time I transformed the thing. Luckily it didn't hit the actual hinge, so now it transforms fine; it just has a stress mark and a hole where a gapfiller should be in the vehicle mode. If you haven't already gotten all other parts of Menasor, do yourself a favor and get the box set. It's easier to find than G1 Breakdown on its own, and the QC should be better than the individual releases.If you do get this figure regardless (maybe because you actually like this deco), do yourself a favor and file down the back of the windshield piece. It's super annoying to get to with a file, but it's not impossible, and taking off a millimeter should make the transformation go smooth without leaving a gap at the top of the vehicle mode
