Thought it would be a bit more clearly visible of what the design was

This rainbow-glass pendant looks very nice, not quite as good as the photos but pretty close. You have to get a lot of light on it to give it the full colourful effect. I like the overall design of the metalwork, although it is quite light and feels a bit cheap compared to 'proper' jewellery. Of course, it is cheap, at only £35.There is a lot to like in the central design, it is nicely composed with decent relief, and the detail is quite impressive.The box is very cheap looking; for the money something a bit better would have been appreciated. The chain is of course quite thin and I strongly suggest replacing it with a thicker gauge.One advantage of the lightness is that you can barely feel it when you have it on, and it looks more hefty than it actually is.Overall this is a relatively cheap piece of costume jewelry and it looks very nice, just don't expect anyone to be impressed with the feel of it.

This pendant is pretty. The design is accentuated by the technicoloured crystal background. The photo of the back shows that the silver is punched with tiny heart-shaped holes. It also shows the bail and the back of the pendant stamped with the S925 mark. The pendant hangs on a fine 18+2 inch silver chain. It does not sit flush on the skin - it is actually 1cm thick as can be seen from my photo of the side. The image of 2 young girls sharing a swing is quite nostalgic and very relatable for women who are close to their sisters.The reason I have given this product 3 stars is that I am not sure of the authenticity of the materials purportedly used for this product. The product is described as "s925 sterling silver with 14k white gold plated, Nickle-free, Lead-free and hypoallergenic. Protect and safe for sensitive skin.14k gold-plating." In spite of the s925 stamp, I am not sure whether this is actually sterling silver or whether it is in fact gold plated. I am wondering why the instructions for using this pendant (see clipped screenshot) say you should not wear it while sleeping and showering and you should not sweat heavily while wearing it. I sleep, shower and sweat in my gold and silver jewellery. The front of the pendant shows one sister is made of white metal and the other is a rose gold colour, however, the back shows both sisters are white. Therefore, it appears that the rose gold colour has been painted on just the front. I am not sure whether the multicoloured crystal is actual crystal or paste. It is too nice for me to possibly ruin it by testing the crystal.I would wear this as costume jewellery because it is nice but I would most certainly not pay the asking price for this product as I find it outrageous, thus the 3 stars.
