Well made. Works with CAT5 and 6.Used to join 2 cables together. It is not a reverse joint. 1 to 1. 2 to 2 etc

Having had bad experiences in the past with connectors like these i was pretty sceptical especially given that it was two pretty long ethernet cables i needed to connect, both cables were 25m each and needed connecting together to make a complete run for my Fox ESS solar power inverter to connect back to my smart meter, to my very pleasant surprise they a) worked and b) are still working 6 months on.I only needed one of these for that connection, so have two spares in the drawer of my desk should i need another, fingers crossed i wont, but at least i know if i do, then they will not only do the job but also do it reliably.

I fitted a poe cctv system, after hiding all the cables I got to the Nvr unit and 3 Ethernet cables were short, purchased these and a few Ethernet cables worried that the Poe may not work but plugged in and worked perfectly
