Idk much about this ball other than the kids like it. It's interactive and app controlled or I should say the app gives you the data. It gives you the speed the ball travels when throwing. How many bounces. I guess you can play with other people who have the ball in the world. I thought it would be a hood learning tool and so far it has been

This is a really cool toy & training device. It has an app that has games and training exercises/drills. It keeps track of throws, catches, speed and trajectory. It is nice quality construction too. The ball has a good weight and is about 12-13" diameter - a little bigger than a softball. It has a smooth rubber texture that is easy to grip and throw. It is durable - great to use with a glove and will survive drops to the ground. The app is easy to use and the volume on the ball is variable - able to make louder in noisy areas and lower in quiet areas or it can be muted. My daughters are 11 & 13 and big softballers - they love messing around with it and challenging each other to see who can complete the challenges best.

Its a smart ball that interacts with an app on your phone. The ball holds a bluetooth device that records and sends info to your phone. Unfortunately this product has many issues. Main issue is lack of instructions, documentation, or any helpful information. There was a tiny pamphlet in the box that was not written in english. Then there was a sticker in the box that includes a website. When I went to that website it finally gave a link to the app. I installed the app and there were some directions in how to get started. I got it started and was able to connect the ball to my phone fairly easily, but this process should have been alot smoother. Now the software is very lacking. It has a lot of music and so called games. Mainly its how many times can you toss the ball to yourself or how fast you can throw the ball. But this ball is not a regulation sized baseball. Its a size in between a softball and a baseball so speed throwing is weird with this. Then the app makes you believe it is geared towards kids. My kids were bored with this. The games aren’t really games. They need to provide better apps with some better thought out games. Overall this product is made with good quality but lacks in use and fun. I would not recommend this.

About the size of a softball, this toy provides a lot of cool information. The accompanying app allows you to track height, velocity, consecutive catches, and more. It does a good job of that too, though I’d love to see this data available on my Apple Watch, and more readily checked AFTER a play session (it’s really designed to be used while playing, but phones and ball sports aren’t the greatest combo). In terms of construction, they’ve largely chosen well. The foam is stiff, but yielding, perfect for practice. The internals are nicely protected and located. My one complaint would be that the ejection instructions aren’t super clear (nor in English - I don’t think they’ve gotten around to translating yet), but once you know how to open it up, it’s a snap.I think with some app adjustments, this could be a perfect toy for a lot of ages. The games skew a little young as it’s designed, and I think some better data analysis could turn this from toy to training tool very easily. All in all, it’s a lot of fun you won’t be able to replicate elsewhere.

This was a really fun toy and I was planning to give it 5 stars and buy the baseball version. It was easy to connect to my phone and the games were all pretty fun. It was super responsive - it would immediately measure data even when thrown pretty far from my phone. Then my son threw it up high (one of the games) and it came down hard enough that the internal sensor popped out. We put it back in and while the ball still connects to my phone, it does absolutely nothing else. Cant start the games, cant measure anything. Something that is made to be thrown (and made to be thrown high) should be way more durable.Bottom line: cool concept but not really suitable for anything other than soft tosses.
