I bought this Philips mixer grinder a month ago and I’m satisfied with my purchase. Tough condiments in the dry grinding jar and wet grinding are done quickly and to perfection but one drawback is the noise that the machine makes. I guess that’s because it’s a 750 watt machine and not the regular 500 watt that we normally buy. All in all it’s value for money and looks attractive too. There are no grooves inside so cleaning too is hassle free and abov all it comes with stainless steel jars that makes food ground in it odour free and hygienic.

There were some claims of the motor being more silent that most others, but that is not the case. It's as loud as most other 750W grinders are ... no less, no more. The design is compact, and the exposed coupler design is unique and innovate, as it makes cleaning of the grinder unit very easy. The flip side is that after market jars cannot be used with this grinder, as the jars have a unique "inverted cup" design that is meant for this exposed coupler design of the grinder.Performance is good, both for wet & dry grinding. However, the quality of the jars is just about par for the price, and doesn't feel as well built and sturdy like an older Kenstar 600W model that we'd been using for the last 8 years or so. Also, the blender jar is conspicuous by it's absence, though it can be bought as an extra attachment by contacting Philips customer care. The blender jar is a standard fitment with the HL 7715 model, but will work with the 7720 also, as they both share the "exposed coupler" design.Would have given it 5 stars, had the jars & attachments been of better quality.

Perfect product. Its too good. Blindly go for it. Overall product quality is very good as a premium product with premium pricing. Bang for bucks in the range of 3000 to 3350/= The jars are of good quality. I like the way the jar fits to body. I dont think think its noisy even it is having 750watt motor. Chutney jar is 400 ml which some people may find small (other brands u may get 350ml for lower value products) but its perfectly fine when used for grinding chutney. Other two jars are of big size and serve the need. This Philips VIVA series has three models in grinding (forth one for juice only). This is the middle model with 750watt motor which is most powerfull in the series.2) HL 7710 : This is with 600 watt motor with slightly less price (need to ckeck always as the price sometimes more than HL 7720 model) 3) HL 7715 : this model is with 700watt motor and its a JUICER. For multi-purpose family who prefers making juice in home can go for this. Its the costlier in the series and sold around 5000/= Hope this info will give you a basic idea and may help to freeze your mixer purchase decision.Note: This one is of very good quality and you wont get the same product/feature in low priced product. I bought cheaper one from reputed brand for my mother, but when I used this, Its always better in every aspect. More money but better product and satisfaction.
