I'm a keen paint-by-numbers person and usually have one on the go at any one time but this is my first diamond painting kit and I was keen to give it a go.Overall impressions of this one are very good. It's a great value set with a lot of time taken to fill this in - it'll keep you occupied for hours and for £6.99 currently it therefore represents good value for someone that wants to spent a bit of peaceful time (mindfulness) and as something you can easily dip into and out of (if you have somewhere you can leave it out - we used a jigsaw mat to do it on so we could do it on our lap on the sofa or a table top. It's good to mix it up a bit as there is quite a lot of leaning over involved and quite a lot of work with the same grip - so it's quite hard on the hands too as the dabber is quite thin to grab/hold for long periods).There are plenty of diamonds included in this pack - there are a lot of spares, which is good to see.You also get the dabber stick and a square of 'glue' - use this generously as there is plenty (although it doesn't look like a lot) as it makes life much easier and quicker for picking up the diamonds first time each time.The diamonds and picture are clearly labelled - the letters/numbers are all clear with no ambiguity.The 'boat' to keep the diamonds of the colour you're working on in is quite lightweight - I would prefer a heavier, more durable one, as I tipped this over a few times with diamonds in it. Again hindsight is wonderful - for my next diamond painting kit I'll use an alternative vessel. Also it would be handy to have small containers to keep the different colours in once the bags are open (I used pegs but this wasn't ideal).A lot of the colours of this one are quite similar as there a lot of shades of black/dark grey with just a few areas of yellow/orange in between. In hindsight I should have perhaps foreshadowed this but the end result is effective.The picture sheet is 30x40cm with a little border to wrap it around picture frame inner or wrap it on a canvas frame. End result is effective and at the current price, if you have the patience, I can recommend it for sure.5 stars from me. Yes you could have a better quality dabber stick, a better quality boat etc but for the price of £6.99 it's excellent value for money.

I have had diamond picture kits before and I liked the design of this one.You only get one 'pen' and one very small sheet of glue clay which I feel is a bit stingey as other kits I have tried have had two pens aswell as a pen that does 5+ diamonds in one go but the price for this one is good, so if you have these items from other completed sets then it's not too bad.On some on the product photos, some of the yellow/gold diamond look a metallic finish so I was hoping they would be, but unfortunately they are just the usual standard colours which is a bit of a shame.Overall, for its price, it's not a bad kit, although if it is your first kit you may find it a bit tedious with just the one pen that can only place one diamond at a time.
