Killer chore coat for 1/10th the price of a Le Mont St Michel work jacket. I watched video reviews of the high end chore coats and they're really nothing special compared to this. If you're buying it to look like a rugged turn of the century factory worker, get the amazon one as it's probably worn by actual factory workers somewhere.Fit is roomy in the middle and very comfortable. I wear medium shirts and a size 38L suit jacket and the medium fits well. It is not a slim fit, but the shoulders fit well and sleeves aren't too short. I think going a size up would be too baggy for most people.Fabric looks and feels like a thick, durable 100% cotton work jacket should. It's actually 3% elastane, which gives it just a little stretchiness but you'd never know by just looking at the material. I think this makes it better for everyday wear if you do more than sit in front of a computer.Construction is just as good as brands that charge 10x as much. Watch a video review of the high end chore coats. They have loose stitching on the buttons and strings hanging off them just like this one. Also the pockets on this are functionally superior. Most chore coats feature patch pockets that you can't stick your hands in. This has welt pockets.Over all, very happy that I chose to try this for $30 rather than drop $300 on hipster fashion. Now I can buy a couple in other colors.

It's a sturdy and versatile outer layer that can be casually worn over a shirt. And the elasticity in the garment makes it super comfortable for movement. Reasonably priced, and it has been my go-to garment in a casual setting. I usually wear a medium shirt for a close fit, but I got a small size, and it's a better fit for me.
