At first, taking the price into consideration and other options, I was skeptical about these grips. However, after installing these on my Harley Sportster and riding around, I notice a significant difference in comfort and control. For one, the grips are very easy to install. In my case, I used a soluble gel (same used for sonograms and defibrillation) to ease the installation process. So far, they have stayed on and have had no issues of twisting or slippage.Second, these grips make riding alot more comfortable. Because they are soft and thick, they help dampen alot of the vibration associated with riding a motorcycle. I didn't realize how much my bike vibrated until installing these grips!Third, because I wear large gloves, the standard grips on a Harley Sportster are not favorable, in my opinion. That being said, if you have small hands, the size change may be an issue. But for those with larger hands, these are perfect. On top of that, they look real nice. These grips will definitely set your bike apart from the rest.

The Bitwell Recoil grips are a solid fit and great quality. They provide a nice firm buffer between the bike and the vibrations. Not too soft, not too hard. The grip pattern provides for a strong grip without slipping.

This is my second pair and won't be my last. My first pair lasted around 4k miles(over due). They do wear fast, but they really have a nice soft and full grip. I ride my bike rain or shine and these grips won't get the least bit slippery in the rain. I had kuryakyns on my last bike, but I would rather have these any day, even if I have to replace them more often. For $18, give them a try. You won't regret it. BTW, they do look good on my 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. If you ride a garage queen and need to look the part, then by all means, spend the big bucks on some fancy schmancy grips. If you ride to get around, then get these if you want to feel in full control of your bike wet or dry.

Nice comfortable grips, and they look good on my FLHT. Rubber seems to be good quality, and they stick to the bar without adhesive. I used denatured alcohol to allow them to slide on. Removing the old grips and glue took much longer than installing the new grips. Recommend you do not glue on grips, unless it proves absolutely necessary. One thing to be aware of, these are certainly not for anyone with small hands or bikes where reaching the controls is already difficult. They are big, chunky touring grips and fatter in the center than my stock grips.

These grips changed my entire riding experience. The standard grips on my Sporster 48 were too skinny and caused my hands to cramp on even short rides. I was looking into some of the higher priced grips to correct this issue when I cam across these.THE GOOD:- Better feel, better steering, and better throttle response.- No adhesive needed for installation.- 5 minute install.- Looks great.THE BAD:- Need to be replaced every 6 months, but at $17 it's not a big deal for me.Biltwell suggests that you purchase a new throttle in conjunction with these grips. I used my stock plastic throttle that was on the bike and haven't had any issues. I will continue to buy Biltwell grips in the future.
